My 2 Amorphophallus konjac,“corpse flower”, plants are finally blooming this year. I had them planted outside in their respective pots a few weeks ago, but had to take them in because of the cold nights. Unfortunately, my house reeked of rotting flesh when I woke up one morning, prompting me to immediately take them outside. As soon as I got through the front door, the flies and other pollinating insects started to swarm around them. They’re now back in their respective pots and my house again smells great with the gardenia buds opening up, one after another.
