A traditional lantern made in the Philippines during the holiday season. It signifies the star that the Three Kings followed. It is customarily made of bamboo and translucent tissue paper with a candle initially as a light source.
I fashioned one using 14-inch zip ties (since no bamboo was available), green and red tissue paper, glitter chenille pipe cleaners, 1 outside wire ring, 2 wire hangers (to form the inside ring), and glue.
